Michelle Egan

For three decades, Michelle Egan has applied her strategic communication skills to advance the reputations of government, nonprofit, and private sector organizations, giving her the expertise and experience to immediately step in and serve our clients in several high-risk/high-stakes arenas. Her experience as a Chief Communications Officer includes directing internal and external communication and acting as a strategic advisor to organization executives. Across Egan’s career, she has led teams managing government, stakeholder, and media relations; issue management; philanthropy; digital communication; and crisis response.    

Egan has directed high-risk communication at a large educational institution and an energy sector company. Her focus on timely, direct, and transparent communication has bolstered reputations through critical events, including strikes, facility fires, fatalities, transformation of corporate culture, leadership turnover, oil spills, and transportation incidents.   

Egan is the 2023 Chair of the Board of Directors of PRSA, a premier professional association serving nearly 25,000 professional and student members. Previously, she served on the board of a water and wastewater utility.   

Ms. Egan is a Boston College graduate with a master’s degree in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University. She is accredited in public relations (APR) and is a member of the PRSA College of Fellows. 

Michelle’s passion for community runs deep, and she volunteers her time with Special Olympics, Catholic Social Services, and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
