LARRY CRITTENDEN Consultant
Mr. Crittenden’s professional communications career spans a range including everything from sophisticated analysis of complex public policy issues to daily-deadline coverage of major news stories for a daily newspaper. In between, he has served as the primary spokesperson for the nation’s second-largest public utility, as director of communications for a complex, sprawling county government, and as a consultant on environmental issues for a city government and a Fortune 500 mining and manufacturing company. Working in media relations for Salt River Project, he managed communication responsibilities for financial, environmental and customer service issues. Crittenden is presently Executive Director of Programs for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. In addition, he assists senior CCA consultants in providing witness development and stakeholder communication to clients. Mr. Crittenden holds a B.S. degree in Mass Communications-Journalism from Northern Arizona University. He has recently been accepted as a civilian member in the Engineering Society of Detroit.
