Mr. McCollum’s background has allowed him to seamlessly fit into CCA’s team in all areas of witness development services, as well as readying pharmaceutical teams to face tough grilling from FDA, and preparing nuclear plant personnel to defend their actions to federal regulators. Before joining CCA, Rich has more than 20 years experience providing communication strategy to executives and attorneys in adversarial situations. He has been both a front-line spokesperson and coach to those facing the media, opposing parties in the courtroom or hearing rooms, and a skeptical public. He has a particular skill for helping clients understand their communication vulnerabilities and building persuasive solutions for decision makers. He has provided communication strategy for clients in over 40 states and in venues including: public utility commissions, federal agencies such as the FERC and the FDA, and over 50 state and federal courts. McCollum has a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication – Rhetoric from Kansas State University and was a national college debate champion.
